At the Nathan's Famous Annual 4th of July Hot Dog eating contest in Coney Island , Joey Chestnut (age 24) defeats Takeru Kobayashi (#1 challenger - age 30) in overtime (by one hotdog), after a 59 to 59 tie and holds on to the "Mustard Belt" for a 2nd consecutive year.
